Hogan started the podcast eating something and asked about Flair and Theo said Flair has issues. 
Hogan said in 30 years he's never seen Flair drink water. 
And what Flair would do, dude he would eat breakfast then hard liquor then train then drink hard liquor, man.
 Lunch beer yeah man. Theo said that's who he is.
 Hogan said when Flair had his health issues I went there dude
 and Jimmy Hart was there and Ric had a five percent chance of living and Flair woke up and asked me Hogan get me a six pack. And he's the best ever.


Theo asked why. Hogan said oh Flair is great, man. When I quit wrestling I went back into a famous rock n roll band and then Flair held the buisness down when I did that. (Lie #1) 
yeah man I did other markets outside the US and they may not know Flair in other countries but I went in there, dude. 
Hogan said down south they were into rasslin and Flair came up to WWE qe started rocking and rolling, man. 
Theo asked about jealousy. Hogan said I saw dollars, man. I wrestled anyone, man.

 I wanted someone to get over so I can chase them, dude. I wasn't an elite athlete, dude but I looked it as art, dude. 

Yeah I wreslted guys in Japan, man. Hiro Matusda breaking my leg man yeah I came back dude and look at the WWE's performance center. 
Back then dude guys would say if you started your taking my food from my family and I knew I wanted to do this, man. 

I Superstar Billy Graham dude and man I saw Dusty Rhodes so I took a little bit from both of them and man.
I left the business, dude and I went to P-Cola and Birmingham and I quit wrestling because the money was bad. 
So I left and I got a membership for a union to be a long Shoreham, dude. Then I figured the buisness out, man.
 I slammed someone and the crowd went wild, dude. I got fired from the WWWF I left to goto the AWA and for three years the Hulkamania ran wild, man.

 I did it I figured out the emotional part of it, dude. Theo put over Hogan and said he just wanted to see Hogan then said its about the person and not the wrestling.
 Hogan said yeah man I was a babyface back then, dude. I rode it then back then, man and Vince told me it was over and went to WCW and kicked his ass, man. 
Even did the NWO thing too. I came in WWWF in 79 then did Japan, dude. Theo asked about Japan. Hogan said he was single in Japan in 1977 (Lie #2)
 and Hiro Matusda beat my ass and my dad beat my ass, dude. I was training for years in Japan before anything, man. (Lie #3)
 in Japan I cut an album and I brought in Freddie Blassie with me in Japan and dude it was big. 

So Freddie had this gimmick where he would bit wrestlers and then spit the blood back at them and dude when he did this three old ladies died watching this (Lie #4)
 so i got hiro Matusda and Blassie there. Over in Japan they treat you like royalty, man. I almost fought a sumo wrestler, then dude.
 I saw my name in Japanese and I heard this crazy stuff next door and this sumo wrestler beat up the booker and apparently this sumo wrestler beat up the booker!
Because the booker told him he was going to lose to me, dude. So the plan was to shoot for 10 minutes then I win. 
So I went out there, man. I was about to go out there and Earthquake went out instead of me (Lie #5)

 so Earthquake is in the ring and this sumo wrestler comes down and tried to pull Earthquake's eye out, man. 
I was saying thank God I didn't go out there, dude. I was kinda scared in Japan after that but I hid behind Earthquake. 
I wreslted in Minnesota then flew back to Japan. Theo mentioned his Jesse Ventura shoot. Hogan said Jesse hates him. 

Theo said Hogan looks healthy. Hogan said man my body in the last 10 years I had 25 surgeries and I was 6 foot 7 and now I'm 6 foot four.
 If I'm with Sky I'm leaning on her. 
Sometimes I'll have a walking stick but yeah man I'm still having issues with my back and I'm going to see if I can get another back surgery. 
Theo asked about the the-at-er of wrestling. Hogan said back then they wanted you to lay it in, dude. It was hard then and it was in different territories, man.
 Sometimes people laid it in and sometimes I had a target on me,
But I flew to south Africa and other countries and wrestler there champion because..
 I was the world champion and Vince would say don't you lose the title there I would say I won't brother. (Lie #6)
 it was cool around 1980 I started to play to the crowd and then I pulled Vince aside and I told him to play music and sell merchandise, man. 

So they played the Rocky theme. Jimmy Hart wrote all the theme music. I went up there in Connecticut. 
I was in the AWA and Verne Gagne and I knew the whole Gagne family, man. I never talked about a match before the match but one time when I wrestled the Rock. I would say see out there, dude. 
Theo asked about how would Andre get to town to town. Hogan said Andre was put in a van and sometimes we would fly. And there was nothing Andre could fit in. 
And then Andre didn't like me. Andre beat me up.

 I made a mistake of putting a flight attendant in the front row.
And Andre found out and beat me up real bad and he picked up and tore my tights off and made everyone see my balls and everything, man. (Lie #7) 
And then you gotta train eat then wrestle then eat and train. The travel then dude. 
I jump on a plane and I saw John Belushi and I flew five times in a 48 hour span and told him that and dude he couldn't belive it, man. 

Hogan said when he was in the ring it was all about buisness. And when I was in the ring I became hulk Hogan and it helped alot.
 I had a family then, dude. Theo asked Hogan about being a role model.
 And when i got home i was Terry and I had nothing in my house regarding wrestling. 
Bret Hart thinks he's the greatest wrestler ever and well all my guys are dead.

 I was the ring leader and they all died and I drew a line in the sand, man. And Sky is my type, dude. 
And with Sky got my whole new family, brother! Dude I walked in so many hotel rooms with dead bodies like happened all the time and I saw them all die (Lie #8)
 that's why I don't goto funerals. Everyone is dead. My mom and dad are dead my brother is dead. My health is good I had ten back surgeries, man. 
I'm all in and I'm all out. I haven't drink since January 1st and just today I took two Tylenol. I put Flair to school in the drinking department. 
Theo told some story about Flairs new assistant name Gia. Hogan said Flair sneaks off believe I know. 

Flair one time in between a back surgery I booked a tour in Australia so Flair needed the money up front. 
So were about to fly out and my back was hurting and I had stitches in my back.
 And we get there, dude and Britney Spears was in town so nobody came and I wreslted Flair and Flair needed five grand I asked why. 
I saw Flair paying for everyone's drinks. Theo said Flair never wanted to be alone. That's who he is he is the nature boy.
 Hogan laughed and said I can't be hulk Hogan 24 hours a day. Theo asked Hogan about No Holds barred. 
Hogan said Tiny AKA Zeus died. Theo asked why Hogan had better luck in the health department.
 Hogan said I train and eat good. I train, eat my vitamins and say my prayers. Theo brought up Somas.
 Hogan said yeah somas are scary. I was training then and I stayed on track. 

I saw the guys drink all the time. I had to deliver. Guys tried to steal my spot. 
Theo asked about how to get a long with promoters to keep the push. Hogan said the character had a long run. 
Yeah man I came back to the WWE in 2002 and we didn't know how it would work. 
Vince called me and said I want you to face the rock. I knew Rock's family.
 I did everything I could to get heat and it didn't work.

Hogan said yeah the crowd is all apart of it. And Vince told me to rehearse the match.
 Out of respect I did it so Rock and I walked through the match and then Pat Patterson said let's go through the match and I don't rehearse the match. 
And Rock's father said listen to Hogan. We get out there and heard the crowd and it was so good. It was fun. When I wreslted Andre we got 33 million watched.
 Theo said he play wrestled. And asked was with all the traveling is it hard on the family?

 Hogan said Vince would write me in the book and those towns, dude and I went to the A towns then, man. 
I put my time in and just put my name down. When my daughter noticed I wasn't around I kinda scaled back a little.
 I bought my own plane then, man. I slowed down because of my kids, dude.
 I own all the trademarks so when I first started I had a few different names. 

Finally when I quit I got a call from Vince and the Briscoe brothers told him to call me to goto the garden. 
And then they got rid of Superstar Billy Graham then. 
So I got there late so I couldn't get in the front door so I went in the back so i had to slide in with the crowd!
And the crowd I was wearing tye dye and everyone thought I was Superstar.
 Vince told me not to wear tye dye. And Vince hooked me up with Tony Altimore and he was a con man.

 So anyway Vince told me your name is Hulk Hogan. Your gonna be Irish and Freddie Blassie was my manager.
 And Vince Senior dies and Marvel called Vince Junor and Vince said they can use Hulk I only paid one tenth of one dollar and in 2005
 I couldn't use the name I went to my attorney and I had to pay 30% of the name.

 So Marvel was suing WWE and they couldn't air my old matches and Marvel lost and they let me have the name, dude.
 Theo said he tried to invest in Glitter and asked about the most bizzare Hogan merchandise and Hogan said he has so many action figures.
 Theo asked about Sky. Hogan said he and Sky love to eat. Theo said John Daly lived inside a hooters.

 Hogan said Jon Gruden lives right down the street from me, dude I drove him home a few times. 
Hogan said he doesn't drink and drinking causes problems with relationships.
 And I'm done drinking, dude. When I drink I can be a prick. I got to tone it down, man. 
Theo asked what was Hogan's driving force. Hogan grew up not knowing he was poor. 

I looked around and knew my parents tried the best they could.
 I'm not gonna die South Of Gandy, man I didn't want to die as a construction worker, man.
 And I did music for 10 years. I played the same clubs so I switched gears and wreslted.
 I was aggressive. I told everyone I was going to wrestle. Theo said Miz did the same. 
Hogan put over Miz. Hogan said he had a chance to tour nationally with his band.
 And we were gonna open for major bands, dude.
 I told everyone i was gonna be the greatest wrestler ever to live.
 Back in the day if you said wrestling is fake and guys would beat people up. 

Theo asked about Pete Hogan. Hogan said Mr. Hogan met his mom while working on the Panama canal. 
I had a brother that was killed. My dad and mom and they weren't there emotionally and I quit college and I told them I was going to be a wrestler. 
And I took them to the Garden.
 And my brothers wife was murdered and my brother changed his name and then my brother got remarried and his second wife was also murdered. 
She was just dancing and some guy came up to her and shot her. And then my brother had a problem with that and so he went to that hotel and they killed him. 
Actually no I'm telling a lie (Lie #9) that's a lie he actually OD'd (Yes Hogan actually acknowledged a lie at the 122:17 mark)

 Hogan said his brother died and his brothers kids were taken care of by my parents. Theo asked about Hogan's religion. 
Hogan said yeah man I got it man and I played guitar and the Christian youth group. I listen to John 3:16 dude.

 I was saved when I was fourteen. My first wife was catholic and I didn't feel it and Sky is a religious person and it's great. 
And I took a friend of mine to church for the first time and that guy was the president of thr Hell's Angel's, dude. Theo put over religion.

Theo put over the UFC. Hogan said he could've bought the UFC back then (Lie #10) and then it had no rules.
 And it's amazing when you figure it out. Theo asked about any vacations planned for Hogan?
 Hogan said no he's been busy and I'm going back to work now outside the ring.

 I did am appearance this year for WWE and I turned down so many movies and television shows. 

My son and daughter and Sky is great. I turn those all down because of my kids and Sky's kids, man. 
And I got a CBD line now, man. I got a whole line now and it's great. Hogan put over his CBD line. 

Nick is great, man you gotta goto Hogan's hangout and DJ Nick Hogan you gotta see it, man you gotta go.
 Theo asked who Hogan misses the most. And across the street the wrestlers would come down here to Tampa to wrestle. 
I miss Macho Man Randy Savage. I miss him a lot. He and Liz babysat my kids.

 And I miss Hawk. Back when I was in the AWA in Minnesota I met Hawk and Brock Lesnar at a gym and they were both in high school
 and I came back a few years later both were huge and got into wrestling.

Hogan mentioned Brutus Beefcake. Theo asked if Brutus is a real Barber.
 Hogan said he may never make up with Brutus because Brutus' wife.
 Theo mentioned in high school he took steroids. And Hogan said in 1990 steroids became illegal. 

And the doctors gave us steroids. Theo said he's getting old. Hogan said he knew a lot guys on roids. 
The only guy that didn't was Bob Backlund. I kept using roids, dude. 

And then Vince was told by the government and they drug me in and it was rough for years and Vince did nothing wrong. 
I told the truth. I said Vince didn't do anything wrong. And they pulled me aside and told me what to say.

 I ran out of that courtroom and got on a plane and didn't come back to New York until five years later.
 Theo asked about Michael Jackson. Hogan said he met Jackson at Disneyland. And the guards told us to not be in Jackson's way. 
Jackson was cool. Brooke was flipping when she saw Jackson. Theo asked Michael Landon. And Hogan said no.
 Hogan said he loves the TV show bonanza. 
Theo put over Hogan. Hogan said he misses Mean Gene Okerlund. 
Yeah dude in Minnesota Mean Gene was with all the women and he would bring in all the women to my house in Minnesota. 

Theo asked about Prince. Hogan said yeah bonkers boys on the river Moby dicks and the caboose and Prince was there on 1st Avenue and I saw him play and it was great, dude.

 It was amazing. He was cool. I dug his music, man. All good brother I'm still here for a reason I just haven't figured it out, brother.
