WWF Wrestling At The Chase 4-21-84 (This may have been the final showing)


The thriller by michael Jackson intro was the wrestling at the chase into

Larry Matisik on a bad green screen introduced the show.


Mean Gene said St. Louis is buzzing about the WWF and Paul Orndorff is facing Hogan and Roddy Piper is facing Jimmy Snuka and Lou Thecz will be rhe refree


Piper said Snuka is gutless because Snuka got himself DQ’d and he doesn’t need anyone and this time it will be no DQ match and Piper will bring the coconuts!


(So this was a NO DQ match with a special ref?)


They showed a match looked like it was taped in Allentown, PA


(So basically at this point wrestling at the chase is regulated to re airs of WWF matches not shot in St. Louis?)


Adrian Adonis and Dick Murdoch The North South Connection(IMO my favorite tag team) vs Tony Garea and SD Jones 


So Adonis and Murdoch just beat down Garea hahah so SD will get the hot tag and the crowd will pop?


Well I’ll be damned SD did get a huge pop!


SD walked in and gave everyone a headbutt 

Murdoch got the 3 with an elbow.


Mean Gene quoted the song oh what a night referring to the last time WWF was in St. Louis


Spike Huber thanks the St. Louis fans. And he will tag with Brian Blair.


Bob Orton thanked his father and he’s taking his time. He’s not a greedy man but he wants it all.


Piper’s pit with Dick Murdoch and Dick mentioned how Piper was on a horse with a kilt on.

Dick said he’s got a big dish in his yard on his farm and his favorite program is pipers pit.

Piper sang yellow rose of Texas.


Paul Orndorff vs Jose Luis Rivera


Paula chants (huge heat for Orndorff)


Orndorff took the robe off took his time before the match started to get more heat.


A great drop toe hold by Orndorff.


And threw Jose outside the ring hard!


Huge suplex by Orndorff wow! Jose landed right on the back of his head.


Orndorff picked Jose up at the 2 count then just freaking killed Jose with a piledriver for the 3


Orndorff got even more heat when he started to do hogan’s poses.


Paul Orndorff did a promo and he said hawk hogin isn’t a big deal he is Hawk hogin run his mouth and Paul can rassle and be in bar room brawls
 and he doesn’t like hawk hogin you won’t be big and he will be his.

Spike Huber vs Dennis Stamp 

(OMG Dennis was actually booked)

Vince McMahon put over Spike getting over.

So the two men like exchanged amateur wrestling holds.


Both men got no reaction.


Spike got a lukewarm response from the crowd when he gave Dennis a forearm.


Whoaw Spike got busted open the hard way his chin was busted. 


Spike hit a back body drop for a 2 count.


Spike made a comeback of sorts and got a reaction when he did an airplane spin.

Spike got the win.
